Introducing BroadWorks Anywhere
Imagine a world in which you’re on a conference call at the office but have to leave to get to your child’s soccer game — and can pull the call from your desk phone to your mobile device without hanging up. Or, imagine that it doesn’t matter where you’re calling a customer from — a taxi, a satellite office or your living room — to the customer you appear to be calling from your desk phone. These innovations are available today with BroadWorks Anywhere™.
BroadWorks Anywhere is a solution based on the fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) functionality of the BroadWorks platform. It simplifies, unifies, and streamlines communications for on-the-go and remote users by extending desk phone features to any fixed and mobile device, regardless of network or handset manufacturer.
Here are some of the benefits of BroadWorks Anywhere:
- Only one business number is needed. Callers dial one number and can reach the user on any phone the user chooses: desk phone, cell phone and a soft phone simultaneously.
- Universal features. Users have access to all of their business features—regardless of which device they use to answer or make calls.
- Works independently of the user’s mobile
network. No relationship with the user’s provider is required.
- Move calls among devices. Users enjoy voice call continuity with the ability to move live calls from one device to another without hanging up.
