BROADSOFT AND TELICA COMPLETE INTEROPERATBILITY TO PROVIDE IP-CENTREX SERVICES

BroadSoft™ Achieves Certified Partner Status in Telica's Total Solution Alliance Program

MARLBORO, MA AND GAITHERSBURG, MD - March 19, 2002 -Telica, Inc., a leading provider of softswitch-based voice and data switching products, and BroadSoft, Inc., a leader in voice applications and servers, today announce that the two companies have successfully completed Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) interoperability testing therefore advancing BroadSoft to Certified Partner status in Telica's Total Solution Alliance Program. To achieve the Certified Partner level, BroadSoft's BroadWorks™ services platform and Telica's Plexus™ 9000 voice packet switch passed rigorous interoperability tests in providing next-generation Class 5 VoIP services implementing the industry-standard SIP interface definition.
