BROADSOFT INKS CONTRACT WITH DIGITAL AGENT FOR DEPLOYMENT OF HOSTED VOICE SERVICES

GAITHERSBURG, MD, October 7, 2002 - BroadSoft, Inc., the leading provider of voice applications and servers, announced that its flagship product BroadWorks is being used by Digital Agent, a facilities-based provider of communications services for businesses. Using BroadWorks, Digital Agent can offer small and medium-sized businesses in Georgia hosted private branch exchange (PBX) and IP Centrex services. Digital Agent is the first service provider to offer Atlanta businesses hosted PBX and IP Centrex services.
