BROADSOFT ANNOUNCES TEN NEW SERVICE PROVIDER CUSTOMERS WORLDWIDE

BroadSoft Customer Count Hits 60, Expanding the Company's Dominant
Worldwide Market Share in Hosted PBX and IP Centrex Deployments

SANTA CLARA, CA - VON Conference, March 29, 2004 -- BroadSoft® Inc., the leading provider of network communications platforms, today announced that ten new service provider customers have chosen BroadSoft's BroadWorks® network communications platform to support hosted VoIP services for the enterprise and residential broadband markets. Increasing BroadSoft's leading global market share in this space, the ten service providers include: Broadvoice, Broadweave Networks, DRD Communications PLC (United Kingdom), Eureka Networks, Inflexion Communications, ISN Communications, RealConnect, Ultimate Medium Communications, XIPTEL and WorldxChange Communications (New Zealand).

BroadSoft's BroadWorks provides a comprehensive range of applications including hosted PBX, IP Centrex, residential broadband, and the latest in collaborative conferencing fully integrated into a single network communications platform. More than 60 service providers worldwide have selected the BroadWorks platform from BroadSoft, with more than 300,000 licenses shipped.
