BroadSoft Selected by BellSouth To Deliver IP Applications
And Services To Business Customers
BroadSoft's BroadWorks Helps BellSouth Enhance
Its Comprehensive Voice over IP Portfolio
CHICAGO, IL - SUPERCOMM, June 21, 2004 - BroadSoft, Inc.,
the leading provider of network communications platforms, today
announced that BellSouth (NYSE: BLS) has selected the BroadWorksâ
network communications platform for its network-hosted VoIP deployment.
The BroadWorks platform currently is supporting BellSouth's network-hosted
trial offering announced in June.
Designed to provide BellSouth's business customers greater control
and flexibility in customizing and managing their communications
needs, BroadWorks will provide extended hosted communications capabilities,
delivering enhanced voice and data applications in a secure corporate
network environment. These capabilities will enable businesses to
increase employee productivity both in and out of the office.
