TO MEET RISING DEMAND FOR VOIP SERVICES TO THE HOME

GAITHERSBURG, MD, January 20, 2004 -- BroadSoft® Inc., the leading provider of hosted communications platforms, today announced a new feature package for the globally deployed BroadWorks® platform, to deliver a market-proven VoIP solution for residential and small-office-home-office (SOHO) broadband users. For the first time, BroadWorks enables carriers to quickly enter the VoIP residential market by providing a single platform solution that meets the scalability and full range of regulatory requirements necessary for primary line service.
