BROADSOFT ENABLES HOSTED VOIP COMMUNICATIONS
APPS IN EASTERN EUROPE THROUGH ISKRATEL
Slovenian provider Iskratel signs contract to deploy BroadWorks
for Hosted PBX and IP Centrex
GAITHERSBURG, MD, January 3, 2007 - BroadSoft, Inc., a leading
provider of VoIP application software, announced today that Iskratel,
a leading Eastern European provider specialising in fixed and mobile
communications solutions, is using the BroadSoft BroadWorks®
VoIP application platform to offer European carriers the most comprehensive
wholesale IP Centrex, hosted PBX and residential broadband VoIP
services available.
Iskratel will bundle the complete range of BroadWorks advanced voice
features-such as user-configurable voicemail-to-email, click to
dial and find-me-follow-me services-with extensive professional
telecommunications services, including training, portal development,
billing and localization for Europe's multi-lingual market.
Iskratel chose BroadSoft in response to an increasing demand for
a complete range of advanced enterprise VoIP services, including
IP Centrex from traditional IT providers. Previously Iskratel offered
only a standard VoIP service for residential broadband service providers.
The agreement is already bearing fruit: Telecom Slovenia is adopting
the BroadWorks platform in order to offer advanced VoIP services
to their enterprise customers.
