Digital Hands CEO to Present Best Practices in LAN Implementation for Successful VoIP Installations at BroadSoft Executive Users Conference

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 8, 2007 - Digital Hands, a global provider of remote call center tech support for desktops, laptops, servers, networks, and PDAs, today announced that its CEO, Charlotte Baker, has been selected to share her expertise on a panel exploring local area network (LAN) readiness issues with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) installations at the prestigious invitation-only BroadSoft Connections Executive Users Conference 2007 in Phoenix, Arizona. The panel, "Moving Beyond the WAN: Best Practices in LAN Implementation," will take place from 4:30 - 5:45 p.m. on October 15.

Ms. Baker will explore the challenges VoIP providers are facing in achieving successful implementations when they fail to account for LAN capacity and other infrastructure requirements necessary for successful deployment of a VoIP solution.

"I'm honored to share the collective expertise of the Digital Hands team on this timely and important panel," said Baker. "Our professionals are somewhat unique in that they have both deep knowledge of telephony as well as extensive experience in LAN and WAN management and security. We're providing extremely thorough, expert assessments that are helping both telephony and IT service providers implement VoIP services successfully, or to pinpoint specific areas where an installation has gone wrong. We can then prescribe what is needed and assist the service provider to ensure VoIP readiness."

BroadSoft, a leading provider of VoIP application software, will host its fifth BroadSoft Connections event from October 14 to 17 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa. The event brings together more than 700 senior-level executives from the world's leading telecom service providers, equipment makers and access partners to share best practices, case studies and strategies on how to drive new revenues through VoIP services.

According to Gartner, as many as 75% of VoIP implementations done through 2008 will fail because enterprises did not perform pre-implementation assessments to determine network readiness. This high failure rate results in escalated costs, dissatisfied customers, and potential loss of business and reputation for the provider.

"In the BroadSoft ecosystem, we have many partners and service provider customers who are looking for innovative ways to reduce their cost and increase market share," said Michael Tessler, president and chief executive officer of BroadSoft. "Charlotte and her Digital Hands team offer first-class outsourced support, plus a track record of success in managing telephony, LAN and WAN. I'm certain the exclusive attendees of BroadSoft Connections will benefit from Charlotte's expertise in LAN implementation for ensuring profitable VoIP deployments."
