Geoffrey K. Hicks

Vice President, Operations

Geoff Hicks brings 30 years of senior management experience in the disciplines of global network management and operations, voice and data engineering, and technical business development to his role as Vice President of Global Operations. He is responsible for leading BroadSoft's Operations, including field services, project management, professional services, and technical support.

Geoff has also served as an executive officer for Primus Telecommunications Inc., where he was tasked with execution of significant capital and operational expense reductions, while preparing for the introduction and deployment of next-generation technologies for consumer and enterprise VoIP markets.

Prior to Primus, he has held executive management positions at Guidecomm Systems Inc., E.spire, and MCI. Geoff was also a founding member of the management team of Concert Communications, a joint venture between MCI and BT Telecommunications, as a senior technical advisor for several key international agreements creating network infrastructures in Canada, Latin America, and Europe.
