Q. Why should I attend this conference?

A. Hosted voice is a real service and it's time to take these service offerings beyond the launch stage. You will learn best practices from service providers who have deployed the BroadWorks platform and are signing top-flight enterprises as customers. Executive panels will describe why they selected a hosted voice platform over the alternatives and what they demand of their hosted voice service.

Q. Who is the target audience?
A. The target audience consists of senior-level executives at service providers around the world in the process of rolling out hosted voice services to their customers as well as end-users at large enterprise customers deploying hosted voice into their networks. Also attending will be executives from BroadSoft's group of world-class partners, sponsors and third-party developers.

Q. How is this conference different from others?
A. BroadSoft Connections is a targeted event, geared to service providers that are focused on offering hosted voice. The value for service providers comes primarily from networking and learning from their peers who bringing hosted voice into mainstream deployment. Unlike other industry conferences that focus on big trade show booths or vendor presentations, this event focuses on bringing together the senior-level executives and decision-makers and facilitating the sharing of experiences to help everyone succeed in the marketplace.

A. BroadSoft has designed this conference to be an interactive and informative program with product demonstrations throughout the event, including conference sessions, exhibits, and partner presentations.

Q. Will there be ample time for networking?
A. BroadSoft recognizes that one of the most productive aspects of a gathering of talented, motivated executives is the chance to network, both through planned activities and in informal settings. The conference agenda includes a variety of structured and unstructured networking opportunities such as topic-focused networking lunches, informal dinners, and numerous breaks to allow attendees to break away for side discussions. We have purposely scheduled the program to challenge your thinking each day, then provide ample time to relax, ruminate, and discuss new ideas and issues each evening.

Q. What is the User Forum on Wednesday morning?
A. In the User Forum Wednesday morning, current BroadSoft customers will learn about upcoming roadmap details, interoperability updates and roadmap, and resources available from BroadSoft to market, sell, and scale your hosted voice services offerings. We'll also have a feedback session so you can let us know how we can serve you better. If your account is up-to-date, plan to attend this valuable forum for additional insights into the BroadWorks platform and BroadSoft organization. You'll have access to the top-level company executives at BroadSoft so your voice will be heard.

Q. What if I am not a current customer of BroadSoft but am interested in attending?
A. There are spaces allocated for prospective BroadSoft customers to attend this conference. However, since this is an executive users conference, we will reserve the majority of the seats for existing customers. This conference is just one of the valuable benefits of selecting the BroadWorks platform. Q. How do I get to Phoenix?
A. The closest airport to the San Marcos Golf Resort & Conference Center is the popular Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, just 20 minutes away. Many airlines have regular flights to Sky Harbor, so you should have lots of options as you make your reservations. BroadSoft has partnered with United Airlines, American Airlines, and America West to provide discounted flights to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport for the BroadSoft Connections 2003 conference.

Q. What is the weather like in the Scottsdale, AZ area in October?
A. One reason BroadSoft selected the Phoenix area for this conference is the superb weather. When other parts of the US are gearing up for winter, Scottsdale, outside of Phoenix, will be enjoying average daytime high temperatures of 80°F (29°C), with ample sunshine and low humidity. Nights cool off near the desert, so be prepared for average evening temperatures of approximately 60°F (18°C).

Q. What is the dress code for the conference?
A. The dress code is business casual which generally means comfortable, casual slacks and polo-type shirts for the gentlemen and similar attire for the ladies. If you will be attending one of the activities on Sunday afternoon, you should dress accordingly. Please refer to the weather FAQ for better planning.
