In conjunction with existing legacy premises-based solutions, Business Trunking delivers voice with dynamic bandwidth management. Business Trunking allows service providers to offer advanced VoIP services through SIP and IP trunking, such as disaster recovery, bursting and unified messaging for additional revenue today, and serves as an important step to delivering Hosted PBX tomorrow. BroadWorks Business Trunking is SIPconnect™ compliant.
How It Works
Business Trunking connects existing legacy CPE (IP PBX, PBX or Key Telephone System) to BroadWorks over any form of IP connectivity. With Business Trunking, users get the benefits of IP without immediately undergoing a transition to a fully hosted solution. Over time, the customer can migrate from legacy PBX to the network. This evolution saves the customer capital and operational expenditures associated with upgrading boxes, and it prepares the customer for a fully hosted solution.
SIP Trunking
BroadWorks Business Trunking is SIPconnect™-compliant. The achievement of the SIPconnect compliance helps assure that a SIP trunk delivered by BroadWorks will work with a compliant service provider and IP PBX, without requiring six months of interoperability testing. BroadSoft’s involvement in the SIPconnect standardization with the SIP Forum helps service providers continue to deliver leading-edge services demanded by small and medium businesses and large enterprises.
