BroadSoft Helps Broadband Carrier Marcatel Deliver "Liberty" in Mexico

Marcatel Leverages BroadWorks VoIP Platform to Offer Voice Services to its Data Customers

BOSTON - September 12, 2006 - BroadSoft, Inc., a leading provider of VoIP application software, today announced at Fall 2006 VON that Marcatel, one of Mexico's largest service providers, is using BroadSoft's VoIP application software as the platform to offer telephony services to its data customers in Mexico. Under the Marcatel Liberty brand, the service provider is delivering a suite of VoIP services, including hosted PBX, to small and mid-sized enterprises and residential broadband voice service.
