BroadSoft Files Registration Statement with SEC for an Initial Public Offering
GAITHERSBURG, MD – March 16, 2010 – BroadSoft, Inc. today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. Goldman, Sachs & Co. will act as lead book-running manager for the offering, with Jefferies & Company, Inc. acting as joint book-running manager. The shares of common stock to be sold in this offering are proposed to be sold by BroadSoft and certain of BroadSoft’s stockholders. The number of shares to be sold in the proposed offering and the offering price have not yet been determined.
A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective.
