You wake up at a campsite. Based on your location, the web weather service sends YOU a text message with the local forecast.
8:30 am
You receive a call from the utility COMPANY. They are at your house for a scheduled installation. You unlock your door and disarm your alarm system remotely from your mobile phone and activate your security camera. The security camera feed is directed to your cell phone.
9:15 am
The utility guy leaves your house and you lock your door and arm your alarm system remotely.
2:00 pm
You arrive home. Your arrival or presence in the house is published to your wife and kids. "Daddy's home" appears on their cell phones, as a voice mail, and as an email message.
3:00 pm
You turn on your TV to review your voice and video messages on the set while watching the pre-game show.
4:00 pm
You chat with your buddies via IM on your TV set while watching the first quarter.
