Connections 2017-general-session

It’s been almost one year since we announced the acquisition of BroadSoft by Cisco at Connections last fall. The combination of the two companies has made us better together and thanks to our service provider partners and end-customers, we’re the world leader in cloud calling and unified communications with 59% of the installed seats.

I’m happy to say we’ve been working diligently on combining the best of both companies into a powerful strategy that benefits everyone, and we’re ready to unveil our plans. Which is why you won’t want to miss this year’s Connections in Miami, Florida.

Here are four good reasons why we want you to attend:

1. We have a superior solution set

The combination of the BroadSoft portfolio with the world’s best collaboration suite Webex, offers the broadest portfolio coverage with solutions for all market segments – micro, small, mid-market, enterprise and large enterprise – and deployment options, from on-premises, cloud and cloud hybrid solutions. Plus, we have an exceptional device portfolio that works seamlessly with our applications. We’ll be sharing details about our portfolio strategy and roadmaps at the event.

2. We help accelerate your move to the cloud

Our customers clearly no longer want to have the complexity and costs of on-premises PBXs, and many are asking us to help them transition to the cloud. Our unique strategy is to meet the customer where they are in this “transition zone,” and help them move to the cloud when the time is right, and with the right hybrid deployment strategies for their business. This is what makes us their trusted partner in their journey to the cloud. Learn more about our cloud and hybrid deployment models at Connections.

3. You’ll have easier access to the mid and large enterprise market

The mid to large enterprise segment is the fastest growing segment of the cloud communications market (with an expected 22 percent CAGR through 2021), and a huge opportunity for our service provider partners. Our solutions have the right features, multi-site and management capabilities, devices, and global footprint to address the needs of these customers. We’ll be unveiling the details of how we’re enhancing the Cisco Collaboration Flex Plan to appeal to this growing and underserved market.

4. You’ll gain access to Cisco’s breadth and depth of resources

Now that we’re part of the Cisco family, our service provider partners can become a qualified Cisco partner and gain access to a wealth of information, documentation, research, training, competitive intelligence, promotions, and to the world’s leading sales team who are highly qualified to help you take your cloud communications strategy to the next level. To learn more, attend our breakout session “How can you become a Cisco Partner?”

The future is bright for us at Cisco and for our service provider partners around the world. My team and I are looking forward to helping you increase sales opportunities and take full advantage of the full stack Cisco and BroadSoft portfolio. See you at Connections!

If you're not able to join us in Miami, register to watch the General Session live streams on November 13 and 14.
