The 85,000 attendees at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last week were inundated with global technology announcements, from the latest communication devices (including bracelets for call notifications), to new communication applications, software defined networks, network function virtualization and other LTE monetization topics.
As the salient topics unfolded over the course of the week, at BroadSoft, we were excited to have our unique capabilities and messages break through. Our discussions centered-around our core strategic initiatives, which include: continuing to lead the industry with mobile unified communications capabilities, extending the availability of our cloud infrastructure services and ensuring the growing adoption of unified communications services beyond voice.
We have already reached notable milestones in 2014 on these strategic objectives, including:
1) Powering consumer, as well as business, Voice over LTE services with the industry’s only business TAS (telephony application server). See recent news here.
3) Continuing to innovate and quicken the adoption UC services. See recent news here.
Have your own prediction for the future of mobile telecom? We’d love to hear and discuss with you on BroadSoft’s LinkedIn Community.
Thank you to all who took the time to meet with us at MWC 2014 and cheers to what looks to be a very bright future for mobile communication services.
