Company Demonstrates Commitment to Quality of Service
GAITHERSBURG, MD, October 8, 2009 - BroadSoft, Inc., the worldwide leader in VoIP applications for the telecommunications industry, today announced it has earned the prestigious TL 9000 and ISO 9001:2000 certifications by SGS-Systems & Services Certification (SSC).
ISO 9001:2000 standard specifies Quality Management System (QMS) requirements focused on an organization's ability to meet and improve upon customer satisfaction and quality requirements. The Quality of Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications (QuEST) Forum, a consortium of telecommunications service providers and suppliers, developed TL 9000, which uses the ISO 9001:2000 as a foundation and incorporates elements specific to the telecommunications industry. TL 9000 defines requirements for QMS and provides members with a set of performance-based measurements used in determining "best-in-class" performance rankings for industry products and services.
"Quality is the backbone of BroadSoft®. BroadSoft works hard to ensure that we are continuously meeting the exceptional quality management and measurement requirements of the world's largest telecommunications service providers and improving our internal processes year over year," said Bob Weidenfeller, vice president of engineering, BroadSoft. "TL 9000 is one of the highest honors within our industry. Achieving TL 9000 registration is a testament to the robust quality management infrastructure in place at BroadSoft and reaffirms our dedication to providing quality products and support to our customers."
BroadSoft achieved TL 9000 for its BroadWorks® VoIP application platform in the Product Category 1.2.7 (Application Servers). Service providers deploying BroadWorks rely on BroadSoft for the uninterrupted delivery of mission-critical applications and to provide the highest quality of support. The certifications guarantee service providers of BroadSoft's adherence to documented processes and procedures that ensure ongoing improvements in delivering global customer support.

Their dedication and commitment to quality is now readily available for all to see and we wish them great success as they continue to deliver "best-in-class" performance," said Steve Chippas, senior vice president of SGS - Systems & Services Certification.
