(NASDAQ: BSFT) today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock. The shares of common stock to be sold in this offering are proposed to be sold by BroadSoft and certain of BroadSoft's stockholders.
