Unified Communications Magazine Recognizes the Unified Connector for Salesforce for Outstanding Innovation

GAITHERSBURG, MD, April 21, 2008 - BroadSoft Inc., a leading provider of VoIP application software, announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMC®) Unified Communications magazine (www.uc-mag.com) has named BroadSoft's Unified Connector for Salesforce the Product of the Year. The Unified Connector for Salesforce is a mashup of BroadSoft's BroadWorks VoIP application platform with the leading web-based customer relationship management (CRM) application.

The Unified Connector for Salesforce enables enterprise users to use their carrier-grade VoIP calling functionality – such as click-to-dial, call hold and call transfer – within the CRM in salesforce.com.

The Unified Connector for Salesforce is a flagship mashup in the BroadSoft Xtended program, a pioneering initiative that brings together the carrier-grade BroadWorks voice applications with leading Web 2.0 solutions. The user can answer calls, place callers on hold and transfer calls – all from within salesforce.com.
