Netia is one of the first Polish operators to offer integrated UC service regardless of subscriber access technology

GAITHERSBURG, MD and WARSAW, POLAND – April 11, 2016 – BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ: BSFT), a global unified communication software as a service (UCaaS) leader, today announced that leading Polish service provider Netia has launched a cloud-based UC solution using BroadSoft UC-One® software. The new offering is an upgrade to Netia’s existing and highly successful BroadWorks®-powered hosted PBX service, and gives business customers a scalable UC solution to meet their needs as they grow.

The new offer called “New Netia” brings together a flat rate offer and broad range of telephony and UC services, including instant messaging and presence, video calling, desktop and file sharing, mobile applications and advanced voice features. Available to both new and existing business customers, the offering uses BroadSoft’s UC-One UCaaS software to provide a seamless, cloud-based solution that allows customers to focus on growing their business and increasing productivity.

The service has been designed to enable Netia subscribers to migrate effortlessly to Cloud UC, regardless of whether they are VoIP or PSTN subscribers and without the need to change phone numbers. In addition, BroadSoft has assisted Netia in developing and positioning its new service for maximum long-term success within the Polish market.

“BroadSoft is a key part of our cloud strategy to meet rising customer expectations, giving us the ideal platform for business communication service innovation at a time when demand for cloud UC is increasing,” said Mr. Marcin Kotlarski, director of product and marketing B2B, Netia. “By working with a cloud communication and collaboration market leader, Netia is positioned as the first Polish operator with a disruptive offering that simplifies adoption of unified communication.”

Craig Decker, managing director EMEA, BroadSoft, underlines the benefits of simple integration with other cloud, legacy and potential new services: “Our proven carrier-class cloud UC services and innovation give Netia the confidence and flexibility to meet the communications and collaboration needs of the emerging millennial workforce majority. Netia is now able to rapidly enable business customers to help their employees communicate and collaborate from any location, at any time, using any device."
